Ladies Bowling is a fun, non-sanctioned group that bowls every Thursday morning at 9:30am at 3-D Bowling Lanes and Sideouts Bar located at 4018 Roberts Rd., Island Lake. You do not need to be a good bowler to join this league. Bowlers of all averages are welcome including those that cannot commit to a full season of bowling, but would like to fill in as a pacer when needed. The bowling season runs from September through December and January through April or May ending with a banquet.
Weeping Canasta is a card game played with partners, four to a table. It's lively, fun, challenging and a great way to spend a morning or evening with fellow club members. We have two groups - the Evening Canasta Group usually meets on the fourth Monday evening of the month, with the members rotating as hostesses. There is also a daytime group that meets to play on the second Wednesday of the month at the IHOP in Crystal Lake.
Triple Play is also a card game played with partners, four to a table. Similar to Canasta but with more cards. We have both a daytime and evening version of this group. The daytime event meets on the second Monday of the month in the mornings at Side Outs in Island lake. The evening event takes place on the third Wednesday of the month and is hosted by club members.

Mah-jongg Mondays. The game originated in China and is played with a set of 144 tiles based on Chinese symbols and characters. The goal is to draw the correct set of tiles to match a winning hand. The group meets once a month at Georgio's in Crystal Lake to play Mah-jongg. The game is played with tables of four players, so RSVPs are requested so hostesses can determine how many tables to set up. Players use the Official Standard Hands and Rules of the National Mah-jongg League.
Samba is another version of canasta that utilizes a bit more planning than the other canasta games. We meet on the fourth Wednesday of each month at members homes.
